Simple Baby Blanket

Recently, I have had a couple friends have babies. Don't you just love new babies? Actually, one had her's just this week and I cannot wait to snuggle with him. Well, today I pulled out some flannel to make a blanket for another friend. I needed something to go with this little outfit I had (which I am going to applique something onto it and will feature that later). This blanket is just two pieces of flannel fabric bound with some binding. Simple. Sweet. Perfect. I cannot wait to give it to him.

SO cute. I love that you bound it rather than turned it. It just adds some color that's just right :)

What a great idea, especially if you have a lot of showers or baby gifts to get! I may try this myself for my first grandchild {arriving end of July}.

This is the one thing I used so much with all my babies. I used lots of receiving blankets. These are precious. Flannel is the best ever!
Win Rachael Ray bake ware at my blog.
Thanks!
